yesterday i got 'caught' in the rain a few times - it was one of those laid back Sunday's for me - had plans but rearranged things to just be 'chill', still got a lil al fresco lunch in tho ..
this morning i wake-up to a 'dreary' day .. so got me thinking of 'napping'
i am not a napper what-so-ever - as tired as i may be during the day, a nap is just always out of the question .. but if i were able to nap, here are a few places i wouldn't mind taking one at!
i can just imagine myself napping in here on a cool fall day with the breeze going by
even here too - i would be at such peace *dreaming of it now*
i'd feel like i was in another planet in here .. feels like "mars" to me
laying here with a book, errr magazine, then nodding off - quite perfection
how charming is this? - even a door!
Hope every one's weekend was as special as mine!
having the chance to have fun and hang low - i don't think i have 1 complaint with a weekend in 2010 :o)

I love napping....the sad part is that I dont have much time for it...but my bed is always very cosy:) I adore the last one...It would be so relaxing to have a nap there:)

Oh I could definitely take a long glorious nap in any of these! I love the last one. Yeah it's raining here too. I wish I could take a nap right now! hehe.
That second one looks so beautiful! i tend to end up falling asleep after turning the last page of a magazine curled up on my bed, everyday :P

Oh I LOVE naps! And could actually use one today. Long day yesterday and this rain is wearing me down...

I am TOTALLY a napper - but I try to make it speedy so that I'm not dead the rest of the day (15-30 min type thing). It feels SO good. Try it!! BUT I have to say that while those places look nap-worthy, I prefer my bed or sofa and complete quietness ;)

Wow, these are awesome! I love the first two a lot! I'm not a napper by nature, however, after baby Z got here, naps were a must have. I still struggle though; sometimes, i'll just lay there and i'm still wide awake, waiting for nap/sleep to come:-). Happy Monday! xo
I'm with you on the nap thing - I just dont do it. I'm not into waking up groggy and confused, no matter how tired I may be (there have been exceptions). But those look like the absolute perfect spots to nap!
these are neat little nooks. i'd love to have a hammock again, but we just don't have the right alignment of trees for one.
i don't nap because it already feels like there aren't enough hours in the day. plus, i see what the kittens do when hubbers falls asleep on the couch (i don't know how he sleeps through their organized assaults.)
ps - i don't entirely disagree with you about zoos, but this one seems very well run, and the animals are well cared for (no sickly or lethargic guys here). plus they do house a number of endangered species (sumatran tigers, clouded leopards to name a few).

i would definitely nap at that first photo! haha. i am really not a napper - once i'm awake, i'm awake. haha. but i do sometimes fall asleep whenever i'm just on our couch watching tv or reading a book - and if i'm really really tired and sleepy.

I actually saw a daybed in Bali just like in your first photo! I have a love hate relationship with naps. A good one is great!
Napping is my best friend. Even a 30 minute snooze can lift my spirits. Special spot? Hmmm any spot that will have me. But I love love all your pictures, especially the first one.
love napping on the couch or in my comfy bed but wish I could do it more often! those pictures are adorable. And a nap on a day like today would be perfect-it's so gloomy, windy and rainy here in Boston today.

Unfortunately I do nap. I feel so old that I actually can now. Any of these places would be just perfect for a nap. Definitely more special than just a plain ol' bed.
