Friday + Royal Wedding + Weekend

it's been a whirlwind lately! - but it's FRIDAY *yay* - on the docket for the weekend - HOUSE/YARD WORK! - *boo* - and i'm planning on TONS of R&R - i either been in an ER room, hospital waiting area, or on the constant move all week - oh yes ladies, BUBBLY tonight!!! - this girl right here needs a good ole fashion rejuvination! - i plan to pamper myself every night this weekend - pretty over the moon about this here!!!

Ps - i'm not too thrilled over Princess Kate's dress! - could of done WAY better! - just 1 girls opinion *wink* - i think waist up she is great, but the waist down, total bummer for me - i don't like satin wedding dresses to begin with, and too boot it was just too heavy looking for her - Kate is THE prettiest girl, simplicity and minimalist she is (which i love about her) - just the skirt on that dress, no go for me - just sayin'!

HAPPY WEEKEND!

I have to say that I wasn't going to watch the wedding, but I'm actually watching it on TLC now. I admit that I did shed a tear (can't believe I'm admitting this!). I wasn't totally blown away by Kate's wedding gown, but I loved her veil, the understated tiara, and the gown's sleeves and neckline.
Yay, the weekend is here!!! Enjoy, darling!!!

Wow? Really? I had no clue that tears were like that. So interesting!

The reason her dress was so understated was because she was doing a modified version of Grace Kelley's wedding dress. Grace though an actress was a commoner hence the association. Katherine was beautiful and confident. Sometimes you don't need flash to make a statement.

I agree with Darnie. I think she looked stunning, confident and very happy. Wishing them both all the best.

I loved watching the wedding and thought Kate was simply stunning! She appears to beautiful not just on the outside, but on the inside. I give a huge thumbs up! I've never been much into the royal family (had no opinion either way), but it was fun to get into the happiness of wedding! I hope the bubbly you enjoyed gave you a big smile!

I felt exactly the same way about the dress. I am all for less is more and i honestly felt this was a "too much of the wrong lace" situation. However,
Kate couldn't have looked more beautiful or in love and that right there made me love the whole scene, dress, lace and all!

I never knew this fact. It's really interesting. I'll have to pay attention the next time I cry.

Wishing you a great day Erika!
