it's my blog and i'll rant if i want too!

as per my last post - i've had a shore house for over 20+ years - a little back info on myself - i've been a "save the earth" girl since elementary school - ONLY using recycled paper, everything had to be the earth on it, and i started my family to recycle before you HAD to .. i'm no major tree hugger - but i'm also not just a girl who lets things go on around her without making my voice heard! - i'm the girl who cries every time i see a deer hit in the road - ALL b/c of humans taking over THEIR land!

when we got out house down the shore - everything was forest - 30 mins to food market - now only 2 mins - there was nothing but nature down there - and it was beautiful and glorious - lots of wildlife roaming in the woods and it made my heart sing in glory! - luckily where i live on the water, the front of my house is wet lands and now a nature preserve so nasty builders can't buy it up and build - thank god or i'd have a heat attack!

but each year i see more and more builders tearing down acres and acres of land to build "communities" of the same ugly 10 house models - and this brings nothing but rage to me - the builders and the people who buy theses home are no more then thieves! - they have stolen land like Columbus did with the Indians - making wildlife have less and less land to live - stealing their homes!

i believe in the 3 R's - reduce, reuse, and recycle! (i actually wrote a term paper in college about this) - i believe in buying a house already in place and renovating it to what you want your house to be - not to be a thief! - and if you know anything about builders who buy this land - it's all about time lines and getting the job done the cheapest way possible .. cheapest of everything in the home and built poorly

as i renovated my house - i got to choose the best of the best sheet rock, wires for eclectic, where my outlets needs to be, what insulation to use, ect. - i had the ability to make sure my house was re-built with the best of the best - instead of the cheapest materials that aren't worth a damn - and i didn't rob any ones land!

so when i go down the shore - and huge strip malls are built - these damn ugly houses that all look the same - drives me bananas - and i put partial blame on the people who buy these homes - having no respect for the environment and what they are doing to harm nature! - true home-wreckers if you ask me!

i got use to driving 30 mins to the grocery store, now only 2 mins away - having less people around - but being down south - not on the water - people buy these homes so cheap and it's the only explanation i can have for why they would buy them - b/c there literally is NO work down south - so they all have to commute to NYC or Philly to work - but they think they are big and mighty b/c they bought a new construction house - well jokes on you people - you are to blame for the wildlife dying and having no where to live - you are to blame for cutting down tons of trees and not letting our earth produce the oxygen it use to - SHAME ON YOU!

i have no respect for these people - yet i do understand that they can buy these homes for a FRACTION of the price of living in North Jersey or buying a house and renovating it - but in a world where we NEED to stop all the pollution and stop killing wildlife - it's a shame these people buy these homes and feed into these builders - shame shame shame

one day i hope these people who are buying these houses and have children - look back and say OMG it's partly MY fault for how the world is turning to be - how THEY have stolen the homes of wildlife - how THEY have ruined beautiful forests and pine lands for the sake of a cheap new house

yes, i'm sure i'm going to get some unpleasant comments on this - but this is my opinion and my blog - a place i can voice my concerns and feelings and to call people out! - and YES i'm calling YOU out for buying a house which use to be home to various wildlife - SHAMEFUL - i hope you don't sleep well at night for what you have done to this enviorment - it's people like you that make this world to deteriorate - we NEED our forests - we need our wildlife - THEY have claim before us!

stop being so uptight thinking you need a newly built home (which is built like sh*t, trust i know from builders, you get the cheapest materials and it's just a matter of time before your house is crap) - think of the world you live in - think of the children of the future - don't take the beauty away from them and the clean air those tree's could have provided

so sleep tight home wreckers - and if you have children i feel sorry for them for what you have taken away from them - a beautiful planet - but bc of your greed you made this world the place it is today!

REDUCE - REUSE - RECYCLE

don't fall into the ugly path of builders and the same 10 ugly homes that make a so called "community" - make a difference in the world - don't cause more havoc! - let the children of the future be proud of you, not ashamed you took their nature away!

THINK ABOUT IT - maybe you will realize sooner then later before it's too late!!!

so this weekend i went down the shore for my Mom to see some of her friends and for a change of scenery - my town and the town next to it is VERY historical - and we now have a main trail with side trails that go from my town to the next - so crazy me with my neck and shoulder injuries - i did a 3 hour hike/job/power walk/high bench lunges/and squats -- not to self - NOT a good idea to jog when having neck issues - here's my view of my 3 hour work out (ps i'm back to wearing my neck brace and muscle relaxers - nothing is gonna stop me from getting this weight off - this Gemini doesn't quit, not in my vocabulary)

and OFF i go!

another cue from nature to learn from - "lean on me" - it's beautiful to know even nature knows how to help one another - now if only 'humans' could act the same way

be the last one standing no matter what the battle your fighting - you'll be sure to win!

this tree i'm in love with - bends over backwards to help support the rest - we should all learn what nature shows us everyday - we just gotta open our eyes, heart, and soul to realize the signs they are laying out for us!

hard core workout completed - 3 hours of nothing but guts and glory fighting through the pain - no pain no gain!

ps - i have a rant to go on - i might upset some of my readers - but 1 thing about me is that i tell it like it is and how i feel - i don't mind upsetting others when it comes to our enviorment - it's my blog and i'll rant if i want too - coming tomorrow! - hint: about saving our earth and our forests along with its habitat .. *boiling already over what i will be talking about*

so i'm out of commission with the gym for the last 2 days - i pulled my neck and shoulder muscles - and let's just say OUCH! - so needless to say it's been 3 sleepless nights due to pain - but pain is part of the game - and i should be back hopefully tomorrow kicking ass again! - i'm already thriving to get back to my 3 hour work outs!

what a night - no sleep at all - and busy busy day today - it surly is gonna be a killer day - on so many levels - i might be making 1 more life changing move today which has my stomach in knots - but sometimes you gotta do what's hard in order to move on and get life back to where you want it - *fingers crossed* i make it through today alive! - but i did get some positive career advice yesterday, which has me pretty excited for my future!!

changing it up a bit with a lil men's fashion - nothing beats a great dressed man in my opinion - i take great pride in bringing Joe from wearing Nike/Under Armor/Reebok ect. type of clothes - to now wearing Vince/James Perse/William Rast/Gypsy05/Ralph Lauren/Burberry/Paige ect. - he's gone from being a total man's man to being pretty metro sexual in his dressing - from head to toe - he now has a wardrobe even women would dream of *pat on my own shoulder*

Gym Update:

so many of you know i gained 35lbs in 1 month due to side effects to medicine - so i joined the gym and got myself a personal trainer - his name is Evan and he's the director of all the trainers (lucky me, i seriously got the best of the best of trainers) - he's working me out hard-core - and well the promise is by the end of our sessions i'll be in the double digits and rockin' hard with my solid body - this makes me believe the Universe is so looking out for me *thank you* - and all the energy i have developed has been amazing - i spend 2.5-3 hours, 5 days a week there minimum - i'm on the motivation boat - and there's no slowing me down! *toot toot*

PS - alot of you are asking - i'm 5'3 and my normal weight is between 100-105 - plus i'm small boned which makes a huge difference - so double digits for my body is actually a healthy number not a crazy obsession - hope this clears that up to all my butterflies :o) .. and i'm on a healthy diet (cancer diet plus lots of cleanses and lots of organic meals)

Juice Bar at Home

as many of you know - i keep it REAL on here - i don't hold back and truth is the way to bliss - i never thought that blogging should be a fake facade to put on and so forth - so my last post was a "read all about it" "right in your face" kinda' post -- i have no deep dark secretes nor embarrassed about anything about myself or past - i find a lot of people hide behind their blogs or won't show "who" they are or give body shots, ect. -- live once and make it WORK - don't be afraid to let the truth be told and show who you truely are and not what you 'dream' to be .. just saying, one girls thoughts ...

ANYWAY i started my personal training and i LOVE my trainer Evan - he's awesome and makes me WORK - we do a FULL body work out but with muscle confusion so the body can reach its ultimate goal - he's supportive and a true light to my future - i can see the amazing results WILL be coming and he has the faith that since i put the weight on so quick, it'll come off really quick as well - we're also working on a plan to get this body the most SOLID it has ever been - psyched here!

anyway so i always go to the Juice Caboose in Summit NJ, a juice bar, for my 'green juice mixed with blueberry boost" - here's what you need to do if interested in making yourself - you'll need a blender and a juicer (the one's that separate all the juice from the greens and only give the liquid to work with) - this juice mix is a MUCH better way for your body to absorb all the nutrients - and i promise you - after drinking them regularly you'll feel like a new person - energy explosion! - and ALL natural!

Ingredients for Green Juice:

(source of energy and cleanses the body)

Kale (6-8 stalks)

Parsley (good bunch)

Cucumber (half)

Spinach (few hand fulls)

Celery (3-5 stalks)

put in juicer and should get at least 16+ fluid ounces - if not add more greens to juicer

Ingredients for Blueberry Boost:

(great for your brain)

Blueberries (good handful - frozen)

Mango (good handful - frozen)

Pineapple (good handful - frozen)

How to make

add green juice to blender and then add fruit - blend till smooth - easy-peasy!

i also like to add vitamins to my juice - which you can get at any vitamin shop - just adds a little extra support to your immune system or whatever else your trying to add a little "umph" too

if you guy's ever try it - let me know - i think it's yummy - but you'll be at the supermarket A LOT buying all the fresh veggies and frozen fruits - but i recommend drinking this at least 3-4 times a week - but if you can get at least some once a week it's better then nothing!

i know it's been AWHILE since I've been here - life has had it's challenges with me and I'm just getting to put all my ducks in a row now - FINALLY - still a lot to work on and accomplish - but things are looking up-up-and away!

CHRISTMAS

i hosted Christmas again this year - that's THE holiday i always host - but ended up violently ill - but thankfully i had everything prepared for the main course and my Brother stepped up and saved the day and cooked dinner and dessert - otherwise Christmas was everything it was meant to be and more - my family sharing love, laughter, and smiles in my home - i can't ask for a single thing more!

WEIGHT

i'm convinced i'm an experiment project - was put on new meds and put 35lbs on in 1 yes ONE month - so there goes my Dr's idea that i had an eating disorder (which i have battled in the past, but been free of for years) - each time i get on new meds i get sicker and sicker - i won't go into details - but it's been a bad quality of life on these meds so i have decided to stop them - on a positive note - i finally joined a gym - i'm now a proud member of Bally's and have a personal trainer for 3 months - so rock solid body this summer here i come!

HEALTH

as i mentioned my health has pretty much taken over my life - today seeing my Dr - he thinks it has to do with my positive ANA results (auto immune disease) - so next step is to see a Rhumatologist (sp) and get more testing done - but i have been putting this off b/c just like my cancer results - do i really wanna know? - the BRCA positive results have turned my world upside down - and to find out if i really do have a serious illness going on, well i'm scared - and goes back to - is it better to know or not to know? - this changes moment to moment for me - it hasn't been easy to say the least

HOUSE

i finally got a new roof on my back porch - so no more leaks and no more raccoon living in my ceiling - most decorations from Christmas are away except all the decor outside, i just can't seem to take them down, makes me so happy to see my house all lighted up and candy canes lining my walkway - but i'm also ready for a change! - i know "so soon?" - but it's the Gemini in me, i need change - so i'm working on ideas to change things up a bit in my place - maybe some new wall art, new colors, ect. - my mind is in a tizzy thinking of all the things i wanna re-do or should i say re-vamp .. call me crazy - but i think 1 year of my house pretty much staying the same is driving me NUTS - but my spending freeze is putting a damper on buying new furniture - so looks like paint and innovative ideas will have to do the trick!

MOM

she still has her good day's and bad day's - she's complete with the double mastectomy with reconstruction except getting a nipple tattooed on her which she is debating on - but i have to say after seeing everything my Mom is going through breaks my heart and soul every day and makes me question how "preventative" i want to be (her eye site is still poor and walking is still a struggle, if she gets out of the house it;s usually only for doctor appts, otherwise she's still too sick to "live life") - but she's a force of power and she makes it through each day somehow which makes me empowered to make it through any rough days i have - she's such a strong soul - even when the physical therapy place gave her 3rd degree burns on her buttocks - the intense pain she still pulled through - but i can't lie - it's been a tough road and she still has a bit to go before she's in the clear and out of pain - her breasts hurt A LOT - but she's on her journey to full recovery which i can't be more over the moon about - to have a cancer free Mom - thank you God for looking down upon us and helping!

DAD

my Dad is doing great - in extreme pain all the time from the knee replacement - but PT says he's way ahead of schedule in what he can do - and i am so proud of him pushing himself to the limits to get himself back to health - he still has another knee to get done - but that won't be for awhile, a long while to say the least - i just can't wait to be able to see him back in his garden, on his boat, making wine and cheese, and doing all the things that make my Dad one of a kind and so special!

BLING

i have been in talks with Joe about a possible engagement - i use to always think i wanted a 4ct emerald cut center ring with an eternity band around it with diamonds on the prongs as well - WELL i discovered that isn't the person i am anymore - i mean i won't be upset with a 4ct ring, but i discovered raw diamonds and that's all that's on my mind - they aren't the sparkle you get with a regular cut diamond - but they are so unique and i actually found a ring i'm in LOVE with - it's very hippie/retro and calling my name - this talk goes along with me REALLY considering having a baby this year - this is all TALK right now - i still haven't decided really how i want my future to go and how i want to reach it - but i do know now i do want a baby or 2 or 4 - i KNOW a huge jump from a girl who never wanted to get married and ONLY considered adopting as an option!

i have a friend who has a line of organic products she makes - she is in the process of getting together a website and i'll be debuting her line on Tiptoe Butterfly - i'm all about organic since my BRCA diagnoses - so all my deodorants (did you know regular deodorants are actually carcinogens - an awful thing to put on everyday) , body wash, food, ect. - i go for organic now - i also no longer wear bra's for they are really not good for a women's body (did you know that?) - ok i do wear a bra when i HAVE to - but otherwise i'm a free bird with my lady lumps - i find it freeing actually!

i have the most amazing opportunity coming up - Lisa from HamptonToes has invited me to join her at the D and D building in NYC and introduce me to the field of design - i'm over the moon with this adventure - i also have been sorta' stalking her over the years begging her to let me intern - haha - she's been a dear friend since blogging - so much in common and she has kindly opened her world to me - i couldn't be more thankful for such a great blog friend - i can not wait to spend the day with her and see her amazing spirit and her talents! - she's a soul i know i will connect with forever - know the feeling? - i adore all my soul sisters and i have been lucky enough to have encountered so many on my road of life - it makes my life so much richer - so much to be thankful for here!

ACCIDENT
Christmas Eve i got into a car accident - so Elmo (yes, my car has a name) can't wink at people on the passenger side - i think he's REALLY missing it and i know i am too - everyone was totally fine in the accident - thank god - just material things to get fixed - so all in all i'm not upset over it at all - even as much as i love Elmo, i know he can get fixed and there's no reason to get upset over material possessions - things could have been worse! *heads up to you Universe looking out for me*

BIRTHDAY
so my baby doll Caitlyn, my Niece, turned 6 on the 26th of December - and her friends birthday party was at "Pump-It-Up" - a huge jumpy play house for kids AND adults - can we say FUN! - races down the slides - obstacle courses to go through - slipping and falling trying to catch tags - the glow in the dark room with jumpys - just SO much fun - brought the child right out of all of us adults there - us adults are all thinking of having a booze-jumpy party there - what better place - that's what i call a good time?!

here's some pics from the birthday - and YES you will see that i gained A LOT of weight - how depressed i am over it - i also know my trainer is gonna whip me into shape and bikini body is on it's way!

i of course had to TRY everything out! - no toy, no bouncy, no slide, no ball, no nothing was untouched by me - it was adult play heaven!

the BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!! - and where MANY races down the slide were held (ps getting UP the ladder part was even a challenge)

my babes friends!!! - HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY LOVEBUG!

(being an Aunt has changed and saved my life - this girl is my world!)

SO THAT SUMS IT UP I THINK - a MIA blogger trying to get back into action and catching up her true groupies on what's been going on! - MUCH love and bliss!

bit of a change-up ..

what a universal bliss night i had last night - local pub - met a new instant soul sister (give-away coming!) - drinks pouring - fabulous homemade organic food munching - gals talking- music playing - lots of laughs having - dancing on the beach- sleepovers - morning filled with coffee and laughing over the night before - then went to the Chakra bowls in the morning - soul has been refreshed and rejuvenated! - today reki class - so blessed and honored the universe has made love to me and keeps on giving ... then Monday girls night at my place, having the girl who did my henna tattoo come to the party to give all the girls henna - i love these memories i'm making - *heart is so warm - thank you*

only 1 *boo* - was suppose to go hiking yesterday but canceled out thinking it was gonna pour and have a 'noreater' .. but i think the universe is working in funny ways and connecting me to who i'm suppose to be with each and every day - the moments just come together beautiful - RE-SCHEDULE

i have been going to the site "Dream Moods" for years - i always have very vivid dreams - sometimes i don't know what happened in my dream was real life or a dream when i awake - i'm also the lightest sleeper you will ever meet! -- lately though i've had this ongoing dream of waking up blind - and all i do is flash my eyes over and over and after awhile i'm able to see - i realized yesterday that this was a reoccurring dream and figured, it's gotta mean SOMETHING to be so persistent! - right? .. here's what it means:

Blind:

Remember earlier this year, when i did *good deed you did* all the work of 3 families and *awesome accomplishment* continued to keep a positive attitude about it all? Not to mention the fact that i frequently help *someone close to you* my Mom *task you helped with* getting through breast cancer without *destructive action* going completely insane. Someone with my *good personality trait* go get them attitude and never giving up and *another good trait* while keep a smile on my face should be feted with *way to celebrate* surprise parties galour. So on November 1st, i vowed to take at least a few hours for me. I'll *activity you enjoy* partake in yoga, *way to pamper yourself* take bubble baths and give *person you love* Adri a call because we have the most *positive adjective* harmonious conversations. I may even wear my *fave outfit* JBrand moto jeans with a Haute Hippie top and refer to myself as *fun title* Miss Toot My Own Horn all afternoon. Starting now, I'll remember to acknowledge that i deserve time for *passion/hobby* decoupage and blogging and space for *ritual that leaves you calm and centered* meditation with lavender candles going. In short, I'm going to enjoy the heck out of myself, on Self Day every day!!!!!!

Lil Catch Up

so my Mom has been getting sick a lot lately - almost like she's back on chemo - trying to figure out what's going on - my Dad is doing well with his knee and therapy - but still long recovery ahead - i've still not been positively diagnosed with WHICH auto-immune disease i have - but i got a cold this weekend AGAIN - so much exhaustion - but as i told my hair stylist the other day - it's better to laugh then cry about it - crying gets you no where but 2 red eyes and a 1 red nose - not pretty - i rather have laugh lines!

hope every one's Thanksgiving was fabulous - this year i spent it with Joe's family instead of my own - it was a good change - even though i was so sick i just curled up in a ball the entire night on the couch

this week i need to make an appearance at work and get some things down - which i have been dreading to do! - then i plan to look into different master degree programs - and well continue with decorating my Christmas wonderland - even tho i can't find HALF my stuff from last year - SO frustrating!!!!!

so remember i told you i got tested for an auto-immune disease - aka more bad cells in my body then good - and the bad cells are eating away my tissue - well GUESS when the next available appointment with THE best doctor is *drum roll* MAY! - r u F'n kidding me - MAY!!!! -- but at the same time - do i really wanna know? - me knowing i'm BRCA positive already has me WAY more upset then i ever thought - and the 1 doctor who we become good friends with thinks it's Lupus - so 1 part of me is saying this is good - b/c once again DO i REALLY wanna know?! -- it's such a life changing game once you know - but i still hold out it could be nothing - but being BRCA positive i'm not holding my breathe - falls right in line with everything else going on with me - crappy - but what is a women to do - YOGA and MEDITATE - no need for tears and put myself in crisis mode - but it's life - got handed a few crappy cards - but i know my winning hand will be dealt SOON - i can fell it!!!!

i'm backkkk - well i hope to be on the norm again - i've been tested positive for an anti-immune disease (leukemia, Hodgkin's, lupus, ect) - which has me in a tizzy - part of me doesn't wanna know, i mean a HUGE part and an itty bitty glimmer is saying 'erika maybe it's a false positive' (but we all know that's not the case) - either way to KNOW is power but not sure if i'm ready to be that powerful yet!

just when i thought i had things under control - eating cancer fighting foods - i get *BAM* a positive blood test - so means MORE tests from the doctors to find out what's going on with my body - bottom line i have more bad cells in my body then good and the bad cells are eating my tissues away - *BOO* - but if it wasn't news like this lately i dunno what my news would be - *deep breathe*

time for those big girl panties back on! - live IN the moment is my biggest dream for us all - we miss so much thinking in the past and toward the future - just stop - realize NOW and enjoy it - say "i love you" to that moment - i'm telling you - it takes you a LONG way when you can actively pursue this challenge!

Dad Update:

my Dad ended up getting a 6 hour blood transfusion today - the hospital wants to release him tomorrow - but he is suppose to be IN the hospital for physical therapy for 2 weeks - so we are trying to get that fixed - all of our houses have WAY too many steps for him to even THINK about climbing - but i'm just so proud of him sticking through all of this and all the pain and making it work for him - i'm literally SO proud of my Daddy! - he's NOT a hospital/help type of guy - so we shall see tomorrow what my Mom and myself can do to keep him in SOCH for another 2 weeks!

and PS last night i gave my Mommy a mani and pedi treatment - girls nights with my Mom are so fun - loven' my new life!!!! -- and i forgot to mention yesterday Nov 1 marks the day when myself and my parents were eating dinner around 8pm and the phone RINGS - her oncologist called from her home in a panic - my life has changed ever since then - so for the next 12 months i'm flipping this life of mine right back!

so i'm back down the shore - up in north Jersey we lost all power and electric *tress down everywhere and roads closed, traffic lights out, ect.* - i had to boil water on the stove and keep the shower running on hot to keep the house comfortable - at points you could see my fog of my breather!!! - i was fully bundled in North Face gear WITH my Tigger snuggie on - oh and 4 pairs of socks - plus 2 dogs and Joe! ...

*but on a positive note - all the booze in the fridge HAD to be drunk before they were no good - we were good at that - always a positive to a situation*

so i've been talking about this BIG LIFE CHANGING NEWS - well here it is - official:

i psych-do quit my job - only going into the office once a month
dedicate myself to yoga and meditation
see a Shaman once a week for guidance
sign myself up to a gym and get ride of the 'jiggles"
and the MOST SHOCKING - a 12 month spending freeze - NO shopping for me AT all for 12 months (only necessities, b-day presents, dinner, gas, food, ect.)
pay off every single debt i have and watch my credit score sky rocket (it's been raising but i want a HUGE jump feel me? -800 please )
save money to reface my entire house in 2012 *already found my contractor and colors and awning material - but gonna wait till spring 2012 - my new porch back roof will be completed by the same company in 2 weeks (that raccoon did a major on my roof *boo*)
eat an anti-cancer diet - be fully informed and make my own decisions with my body
these next 12 months are all about ME - discovering who i am, going to self help lectures, join local activities, meet new cherished friends, volunteer, ect.
i plan for a non-material 12 months - but a major inner journey - which i hope ends in a trip of a life time to Africa!
find a masters/PhD program and go back to school
these are the basics of my 12 month plan

SO ALL in ALL i'm taking 1 year to better understand myself, explore life and it's opportunities, come up with a solid business plan, but for these 12 months to just be about ME and my BODY, MIND and SOUL - a super excursion if you will - i'm stoked!

i know i know - an EVEN BETTER version of myself - holy spaceballs - it's gonna be good!

hey Butterflies - i got a chance to get on here - and have some Instagram pics to share from the last few days ..

to start off the anesthesiologist wanted to stop the surgery - felt my Dad was too high risk, even though he passed all previous pre-surgery tests - they talked about him not waking up for 5 days and breathing tubes - lets just say i started to get S-C-A-R-E-D! -- but after a lung treatment and some meds - they felt he was OK for ther surgery ..

surgery went not as expected - easy - turns out a lot of cutting, drilling, chiseling, ect. was getting done to get the new knee to "fit" - but all in all - everyone is unexpectedly surprised how well my Dad is doing - walking on the first day - not complaining - doing his PT pretty easily considering - the next 2-3 weeks will be torture though - this is when he goes into rehab (still down the shore) for intensive physical therapy ..

he won't be even eligible for the other knee replacement for at least 6 months!!! - but i'm just so proud of my Dad - such a strong and amazing man - still cracking jokes and hitting on all the nurses - god i love this man!

my dad goes in for 1 knee replacement today (next one once he's recovered from the 1st)- being high risk i'm of course scared out of my skin - my Dad is literally my very best friend, my confidants, my method to madness, truth teller, best teacher i've ever met, a man filled with pure love - there's no one that can possibly add up to my Daddy - he's just THAT amazing ..

so the threat of possibly something going wrong has my nerves a wreck and i'm scared of possibilities - i love my Daddy to pieces and wish upon you all that you can say the same about yours

best part of childhood was waking up my Dad to play or for pancakes - he IS the pancake KING!

My dad has taught me how to fish, drive a boat, drive a car, helped me with homework, taught me how to plant a garden from seeds, taught me the love and passion behind cooking, what a dollar is worth, the a car should be "from showroom to junk yard", to be independent, yearn to be my own boss, taught me how to use and be proficient in the use of power tools, taught me how to fix my own car, how to walk away when things arent right, to always do for other and NEVER expect in return, taught be to dig up a Christmas tree every year then plant them in our front yard to watch them grow as i did, how to make homemade wine, pasta, cheese, pizza, ect.- took me on trips all around the country and world - i can go on for day's - he's just an amazing man i couldn't live without - i'm one lucky girl - no denying that - i thank my lucky stars he's ALL mine!!!

as he goes through the most torturous pain of his life

and no "mistakes"!

PS -my Bright Pink event was AH-MAZE-ING! -- we stopped at the Biergarten first then went to Tenjune for the event and to dance our booties off! - were gonna go out afterwards for a lil more club action but our driver (Joe) had work the next day - WHICH he ended up NOT going to anyway - we didn't get to bed till 3:30am - such a fun night - great prizes were one - set-up amazing - had a free photo booth which we took lots of pics - had the red carpet wall and prof. photographer - sushi, bubbly, cocktails, veggie and fruit platters, desserts, ect. - free lil give-aways all over the place - it was just SUCH a FUN event - especially with the day i had before it (got some serious bad new about my health ... Feel good goodies

yes i know i have a shopping addiction - but soon enough it will come to a halt - a MAJOR halt - like NO more purchases for 12 months - yes 12 months - i'm dedicating myself that after October i will not purchase anything that is not a necessity and pay off all my credit cards! -- gonna be hard, but it's a life changing decision you will learn more about!

today i had a siding guy come and work up an estimate for new siding, awnings and other lil things that go along with refacing a house (sofats, gutters, drain pipes) .. time to save for 2012 and so my outside looks like the inside - the contractor even said "wow when i pulled up i had no idea the inside of your house would look like THIS" - major compliment! - but first up is to get a new roof on my back porch ...

anyway here's some more goodies i just got - more to come - i only have a few more days left to get my shopping on = cuz then i'm shut off for good! - well 12 months!

so last night i was wired from a night out with the ladies n a lil coffee afterwards - so i ended up cleaning the night away and not being able to fall asleep to 4am - ur thinking, 'ok not good' - yeah i thought the same thing - but then AFTER awhile i got myself out of bed *cough cough* like 1 pm-ish - i decide to walk to my parents house and WHAT do i see? A BUNNY RABBIT!!!!! - instantly i thought - THIS IS GONNA BE A GOOD DAY!!! (we use to have lots of rabbits in my backyard, but Riley, my Westie who passed, would unfortunately kill the babies and i wasn't able to save any as hard as i tried, so i think Bunny-news spread and no more rabbits in the neighborhood for awhile now) -- so the day goes on, me mostly tired to the bone and laying in bed watching cartoons, YES cartoons -- a new roof guy shows up for an estimate for my back porch roof (unexpected on my behalf, i'm in jammie's, no shower, napping all day to cartoons, hair like a wild women, pink ugg slippers, just a wreck) -- he leaves - FINALLY get my butt in motion - take a shower - get presentable - go to dinner at Bertucci's with Joe - stop in PC Richards for a new water filter ($40 a pop n this is my 3rd one, insane) for my fridge end up buying 4 pack of batteries for no reason - then take a ride to Animals and Things to spruce up Peanuts new mansion cage - AND what do you know - an Indian family was trying to return 3 parakeets n their cage to the store - store had a no return policy - me being, well ME voices: "do they need a home? i'm like a Miss. Doolittle and i have 2 at home already, i promise to take the best care ever of them" (and i think the power of my henna tattoo totally won them over)-- so i tell the family i'll be down the isle and if they decide they don't want just let me know - and as i was buying Peanuts new toys n home supplies - they come up to me and GIVE ME THE PARAKEETS AND THE CAGE WITH FOOD! *rock the henna oh yea* -- Joe of course tries to talk me out of it - but NO talking me out of this - so i have 3 new additions to my family!!! **love love love**

PS - my Mommy is totally a champ! - double mastectomy with reconstruction went great - of course all the pain mixed with the neuropathy pain left from the chemo as well as my Mom's eye sight has been lost to the chemo as well - but she's got 2 drains out and hopefully the last 2 today (odd for them to be in THIS long, but if it can go wrong, it does with my Mom) - they filled each one with 40cc's on Tuesday - i'm sure he'll fill a little more today - he thinks she'll probably be around 700 when she's all done and finished! ... thanks for all your love notes and comments - ur the best Butterflies!

Moms double mastectomy with reconstruction went smooth! of course lots of pain (4 hours with pain management once she woke up - then a never few that night!) - she's moving and grooving on her own - SO PROUD OF MY MOMMY! - - OH YEAH baby!! --THANK YOU BLOGGERS AND GOD *thankful* -- (craziness, but that's what i'm here for) - HOORAY for her victory - by Thursday 2 tubes will prob ably be removed - she's just remarkable!!!

with my life being so out of control lately all i've been thinking about are ways to escape - and the foremost thought is AFRICA! - yes Africa my friends - i have ALWAYS wanted to visit and move there - have a totally different change of life - uproot everything and just move and find a tribe to welcome me for my stay! - this has literally been a dream of mine since i was a little girl - living in Africa, seeing the wildlife, scorching hot days, bugs flying all around me, living in the same clothes for days at a time, being barefoot and eating only what the tribe eats, ect.

i dream of this day one day coming true - for this "tribe" to teach me more about myself and for me to help them as well - a total barter system - as well as a spiritual awakening - i hope one day, everyone will be well enough in my family, that i can just uproot myself and plant my feet in Africa for some time - this day can not come soon enough!

DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE A CALLING IN LIFE TO BE SOMEWHERE ELSE MAKING A DIFFERENCE?!

my perfect life = to have just enough money to not have to work and volunteer full time :o)

Life Update:

WHAT a weekend - and i mean WHAT - i still have fragments of my cold left, but mainly i'm pretty ok - breathing through my nose normally would be FANTASTIC but i'll take 'pretty ok' at this time! - a historic moment happened this weekend - i FINALLY officially made my water bed into the guest bed, i officially can say i am a grown-up with a grown-up bed, i got myself one of those temperpedic beds with the pillow top *crossing fingers* it's soft enough!!! - for the next 10 weeks u will most likely be finding me at The Stage House every Sunday for FOOTBALL now! - Let's go GIANTS! - no yard work got done, no major cleaning like i planned, no pictures were hung, let's just say i pretty much got a big ole nadda' done this weekend b/c i was sick *boo* - i can not believe i'm even saying this, but i actually thought of hiring someone to do 1-2 major cleanings in my house before i put all my rugs down and all my decor back (my house has been upside down with everything going on)

Ps - Mom goes in this Thursday for double mastectomy with reconstruction - OH and remember i told you about Ms. Lee - well she went to a conference and GET THIS - the BRCA 2 mutation we have turns out to be 75% Polish women - it's a new study just released where she heard at one of her conferences in NYC - and if you don't know i'm 100% Polish *dizzying*

Tomorrow is M-Day - MISSONI AT TARGET - who else is staying up ALL night for the stuff to hit the Internet? - COUNT ME IN - i already told myself i prob won't buy the clothes, b/c i hate buying the clothes from these 'collaborations' and you see everyone and their mother wearing the stuff - so i'm mainly ALL about the home decor - that patio set is MINE - that's really my ultimate goal - to get the patio set and 1 throw blanket - *pretty good from wanting EVERYTHING to just 2 things will make me happy* - wishing everyone luck tomorrow getting their Target + Missoni frenzy on!

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span."

it's official - i do have a raccoon as a roommate! - now do i evict him/her or let him/her stay rent free?! - hummmm - u know deep down inside i wanna leave "it" alone - but i also don't want damage done to my house that will cost me a fortune to fix .. breaks my heart to make the lil guy/gal leave! .. Joe says i build him a lil home so this way he can stay near and i won't feel bad - i'm actually thinking of doing such! - i know i'm a lil cookey when it comes to animals!

lets now switch gears a lil back to what this blog was all about - things i LOVE and inspire me in life - take a look at these 5 homes - all built underground! - now that's some WOW factor right there! - i'm hooked by this idea already - even tho the idea of not a lot of natural sunlight sorta' leaves a sour taste in my mouth - BUT to live in one of these, i think i could make do!

what do you think? - something for you or a total pass by?

i admit - i'm smitten with this - i love anything that has a "wow factor" to it - and well these are just beyond stunning - i just want a tour inside BADLY - anyone else wanna take a tour with me?!

i also would like to know how earth friendly these homes are?!?! - many of you know i'm very passionate about 'saving the earth' - so when i pass by a housing development going up and i see the thousands of tree's builders knock down for unneeded housing - it kills me - i always think to REUSE - why take more from the earth then you need - animals need shelter too - and if you can't afford to buy a house, knock it down, and rebuild then DO NOT BUY -- but that's me and my "save the earth" antics -- i seriously have such a soft spot for our earth and we are just tearing it to pieces! - feel me?!

Wrath of Irene

as many of you know i'm a Jersey girl - last week hurricane Irene stopped by for a visit - here are some pictures i took yesterday as i was driving through the town next to mine, Cranford - remind you, these houses you will see are NOT in a flood zone, FEMA has been there since the storm, people are getting tickets b/c looters are coming and trying to take their stuff off the curbs (has to stay there for FEMA and the insurance companies to see so they can give you $$) - literally these homes were water front property from the storm!

i know a few people in this town of Cranford and their homes are destroyed - one house even lost it's roof!!! - pure devastation - priceless memories gone from flood waters! - and all of downtown Cranford has to get rebuilt pretty much - all the restaurants (which many are my fave) have all be destroyed and out of business until they can renovate everything

PS - down the shore didn't get much damage at all - the storm really went crazy once it hit up in central/north Jersey - from my neighbors they said the storm was nothing compared to the Noreasterns we get down there ..

I know there are A LOT of people very thankful right now for the American Red Cross, FEMA, State Troopers, Police officers, Fireman, and other rescue squads -- there's A LOT of work that needs to take place in NJ - some towns are already declared disaster zones and family's are not allowed home - some STILL without power or water

whahhhhh - summer is over - it's gonna be raining here in Jersey all week - no more bright blue sky's and sand between my toes - but on the bright side NO MORE packing for the weekend! - cleanse number 2 is coming up - lots of fall cleaning and still some de-summer-izing in my backyard needs to take place - my throw rugs need to be placed in their proper positions again - bikini's and summer close need to get put back in storage - i'm already feeling a lil fall cold coming on (runny nose, sore throat) - back to focusing on my house and decor

Sept. 2nd ALREADY?! - too fast, just too fast! - i def need to get my summer a little bit longer, not ready for being cold just yet! -- my legs still wanna feel the air - my arms like being out and about - my poor feet are gonna miss walking in the blades of grass - and my skin will be craving to lay out on the beach all winter now -- but soon enough vacations in the Caribbean will be near - but until then i'll be sad that summer is leaving me! *lil tear fell*

Today is THE day in celebrating the lives, memories, and hope of Ovarian Cancer by wearing the color teal! - September has been chosen to be the month of Ovarian Cancer Awareness - aka the silent killer - as many of you know i'm at a very high risk for getting ovarian cancer being BRCA positive - most of the time ovarian cancer is caught too late and the survival rate when caught isn't pleasant, to say the least.

As President Obama declared yesterday: "Ovarian cancer continues to have one of the highest mortality rates of any cancer, and it is a leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States. This month, we remember the mothers, sisters, and daughters we have lost to ovarian cancer, and we extend our support to those living with this disease. We also reaffirm our commitment to raising awareness about ovarian cancer, and to advancing our screening and treatment capabilities for the thousands of American women who will be diagnosed this year."

here in the States it's Labor Day Weekend - meaning 3 day weekend - BUT since hurricane Irene went through last week, pretty much everyone i know has already de-summer-ized their homes - backyards are all winter ready, chairs are put away, lil decor wrapped and awaiting to appear next year -- Joe and I will hit up the shore since the wedding is closer from there - i'd LOVE to get back home and do some fall cleaning BUT then again it's the last weekend of the summer, so i gotta go out with a BANG!

what a R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G day i had yesterday! - rolled out of bed around 9 - was at the beach by 10:30 - tanned till 3 - after the beach i went poolside and read my book Start Where You Are (i LOVE Pema Chodron) - Joe had the fridge stocked with Bubbly, Blueberry/Pomo juice, and Pellegrino sparkaling water for me - then Joe came home we had a cocktail outside - then we went to dinner at LaBella's - afterwards we took a walk around in Great Kills Park - last stop of the night, TJMaxx (what's a fab day without a lil bargin shopping) ..

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN BUYING FOR YOUR CLOSET?

so here in Jersey it's still a bit crazy from Irene - a lot of people without power yet - still evacuations going on - lots of u-turns and figuring out back roads b/c trees are down everywhere - water is contaminated so lots of boiling water - but i'm grateful b/c everyone i love is safe! - and to boot i got ZERO water in my basement (rock on water proofer guys!)

today i'm taking off work for a 'mental health' day (i always use "teacher terms" since i got the degree in it, so i try and make corporate world sorta' like teaching world, LOTS of days off) - just gonna be me at the beach with a book and figuring out which way i wanna go in life and work on a business plan - by 2013 i WILL own my own business - i just gotta get everything in order and make it work

no matter what, take the time to get to know yourself, it's amazing what you will find (some good, some bad, but always much stronger) - how much i would love to switch my life for another right now, i still love my life, every bit of it has taught me so much and made me that much better of a human being!

i'm ALIVE! -- Hurricane Irene KILLED NJ/NY -- ended up cancelling our trip to Maryland due to evacuations -- where my boyfriend lives in Staten Island was all evacuated -- all my friends i know down the shore were evacuated -- tree's are torn up -- streams are now rapid lakes -- here in north Jersey people now have water-front property (but this is not a good thing) -- took me 2 hours to get my Mom to the hospital instead of the normal 20 -- no traffic lights working -- tons of people still without any power -- i'm blessed that everyone i know is OK -- houses can be rebuilt, repainted, ect .. but lives can't be returned -- so i'm just grateful all the ones i love are still with me and my house is well totally hurricane proof (no water AT all .. all the rest of my neighbors had like a foot of water in their basements) ..

even tho you made me miss my trip to Maryland, Irene - i sorta' thank you for getting me outta' watching baseball - so sorta' thanks ..

OK - off on the road i go - this will be interesting!!! - but if it wasn't interesting and testy then well it wouldn't be my life, right?

weekends ALMOST here - tonight i was suppose to be in NYC at The Dove Parlour with my fellow Be Bright Pink girls, but right now i'm just not ready to 'face' other women and talk about the 'issues'! - then Friday packing up the car and Joe and I and a few other couples are heading down to Maryland to watch the Yankee's vs Oriel's (someone in the group knows the owner of the Oriels, so we're getting PRIMO seats - this is coming from a girl (me) who loathes baseball - but i'll make the best of it, worst case i'll stay at the hotel and tan at the pool - that's IF this darn hurricane doesn't throw me for a loop) - we'll be staying at Aloft, which is a trendy-hip hotel part of the W hotel chains - there's gonna be A LOT of drinking, eating, laughing, and plain ole good times this weekend! - we're def a fun bunch when we get together! - and i'm sure i'll have tons of battle wounds like always! - and Joe will have to "fill me in" on all the things i don't remember (i swear i'm HYSTERICAL when i'm tipsy, i'm one of those people who loves everyone and feels the need to let everyone know i love them and then well i just get silly - make love not war, RIGHT?!, it's the way i roll at least!)

what a good day yesterday turned out to be - had doctors - met up with a friend for lunch - then since Tuesdays are my "Erika Time" i of course hit up the local HomeGoods in that area ..

and remember when the "new" oncologist wouldn't see me - WELL - my Mom called her GYN oncologist (which i tried to make an appt, but the girl said 'NO') - and well he (dr) was FURIOUS! - i of course do not know who i talked to, but he's totally MINE now - THANK U UNIVERSE! - one less thing to worry about - i REALLLLLLY wanted a GYN oncologist to checking on the norm.!

and remember HERE i told you i was gonna have Mother Nature talk to the Universe and let the Universe have it - well FINALLY it's listening - we had an earthquake in Jersey! -- SEE universe, don't mess with me, b/c i'll have Mother Nature all up in ur face! *wha wha*

seriously yesterday was a punch in the gut that i'm still recovering from! - as i mentioned yesterday i had a new oncologist i was going to meet with - i've been having ALL kinds of anxiety over this (sharing my story, having her check me, finding this new hospital, what she'll be like, what will she tell me, ect) - and let me remind you it took me over 1.5 months to get this appointment - i had to send them ALLLLL my test results and films and cd's, yadda yadda - THEN yesterday *PUNCH* - her assistance calls me back and tell me "oh you don't have cancer now, so she won't see you, but i'll have a counselor call you" = UM WHATTTTTT -- of course sitting at work at my desk when i got the call and YUP the tears started to come!

how dare they put me through for 1.5 months of anxiety - how dare they call me hours before my appointments and tell me the news - how dare they think this is somehow OK - b/c it's NOT ok - i am ANGRY and i am never angry - just goes to show you, people have no courtesy sometimes - just like when i was at my GYN last week and 2 women knew each other, but insisted on being at opposite sides of the room - so what do they do? - SCREAM back and forth - and their conversation was VERY upsetting to me - i thought to myself "do you guys have any clue at all" - there's a time and place for everything - and even tho the conversation doesn't upset you, doesn't mean a room filled with people will feel the same as you - talk about selfish!

SO NOW - i'm in the mood for a lil laugh - hope these will make you smile!

i got a million and 1 things to do today in work before i have, yes, doctors - then meeting up with one of my lovah's for lunch at Chipolte (i'm obsessed, do you know it's ALL organic, i KNOW, i don't understrand why they don't promote that!) - then i'm gonna try and take the rest of the day for Erika Time, this all depending on what i get done at the office now .. off to business i go!

how was all my Butterflies weekend???

Thursday i came home to my Dad cleaning out my bird cage, by doing so 1 of my birds got loose outside - i of course think all my animals are my babies, so i turned into hysterics - so who do i call, JOE! - and sure enough, tears rolling down my face and i'm thinking how it's not gonna 'make it' in the wild, JOE finds P.D.!!! - you have no idea - my family was ecstatic! - i swear thank the lord for my Joe!

Friday i took off work and headed down the shore with my whole family (minus my Dad) - which i then took 1 for the team and went into the pool with my Niece (it was COLD from all the rain) - Saturday was filled with a trip to the Popcorn Zoo (i could be there for HOURS, i'm obsessed with the place, it's all hurt/rescued animals, it's more of a rehabilitation center instead of a zoo, i loathe 'real' zoo's) - then lots of swimming with my Niece Cait (she totally turned into a water bug, such an awesome swimmer at 5 yrs old) - later that night was Tiki time (ohhhh the stories i can tell) ...

*yup my celery again, i so don't think it's strange, vodka and tonic in 1 hand, celery in the other - it's called off-setting calories*

then Sunday Joe and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary (holy crap, i know, i couldn't believe it was 7 years, i did the calculations over like a 100 times - but yup sure enough 7 years)

today is a BIG day for myself - i am meeting up with a new oncologist - i'm of course sh*t scared - but i am refusing to stop seeing every doctor i can see - i want EVERY opinion out there, i want all the facts, and well i need to find THE doctor i want to be with for the rest of my life - only good thing about all of this, is that i totally changed the way i lived life - i now truly LIVE for just each moment i have and i don't look too far ahead, i literally cherish seconds instead of days - b/c i know 1 day i'm going to get the worst news ever - but i am refusing to let this consume me, but it's been challenging, if i can be perfectly honest, and i haven't mastered it yet ...

i never got to reface my house or do any landscaping this year - but next year i'm ALL about my backyard - i really want to make it my oasis - i have a pretty large backyard to work with, which is a good thing, it's not huge, but now small either - i did a lil here and there this year - but nothing like i imagine it to one day look like - here's a few things i have in my mind for my backyard oasis:

this is something i can SO make on my own - i'm good with power tools and know about all the joints i'll need and so forth - and i always wanted a pond in my backyard - but i'm worried about all the wildlife will eat my fish ... hummmm

this is a MUST have for me - you have NO idea! - a few years back my Dad decided to study the stars - Yes my Dad is like me, once he gets a thought about something, it's balls to the wall and will be an expert at the end - anyway - so when he studied the stars he went in his backyard and with sticks and twine he made me a telescope that pointed directly at the North Star .. SEE how amazing my Dad is - so THIS little DIY backyard club house, HAS to make it's way to my backyard - and seems easy enough to build!

i would LOVE 2 of these to be on my little cement patio i already have - i already have the PERFECT orange lil side table to go with them - problem is - Anthropologie is SOLD OUT of them *boo* - i missed my boat - but maybe someone will put them up on Craigslist or something - stranger things have happened!!

YES i'm showing this AGAIN - no one is taking the HINT around me - i would DIE for this exact one! - it's the Knotted Melati hanging chair - looks like i'm gonna have to pull the trigger before this one gets sold out like the chair above! (i came to the conclusion that my family and friends aren't good puzzle solvers or hint gatherers - all along i thought i made it perfectly clear that i WANT THIS BADLY, haha)

and of course i HAVE to have the old fashion swing! - i have the PERFECT tree right in the middle of my lawn for this baby - doesn't make you smile just looking at it?!

i bought 2 Legare Tri chairs from HauteLook for my back porch - paid $120 each instead of $396 each - SCORE! - which i have 2 more wire chairs i bought a few years back that will look awesome together!

A MUST for me - my neighbor has a dog Lucky who is ALWAYS crying to come over and sneaks out of his house and comes to mine to visit Kayleigh - so something like this between our fences are a MUCH have - as many of you know - my house is LITERALLY right next door to my parents - so on their side of the fence there will be a door - for the pups (soon to be pig too) can go back and forth!

what backyard is complete without a fire pit? - um NONE! - so of course i will need a fire pit and i love how they have the stone a few feet back from it for fellow pit lovers to sit!

heck while i'm dreaming away - a pool like this would be FABULOUS in my backyard - waterfalls all along the side - now if anyone has an extra 100G's let me know!!!! - u'll have an OPEN invite to swim whenever!!!

DEF doing another cleanse at the end of September! - but I heard there's a juice bar in Summit, NJ who makes the same cleanses but MUCH cheaper (can't call it the same name for obvious reasons)

Life Update

holy calamity - i told you yesterday i had a wake to go to and it was for a girlfriend i knew since i was 5 years old (we're not close, our circle of friends were friends, but we never clicked, but never any issue with us, we just never hung one on one) her Mom, who passed away suddenly in her sleep - i had my sh*t together walking in and waiting on the line (her hubby is the top county cop guy - so let's just say if you wanted to rob a house in the county there would of been no issue, b/c every cop was there) and THEN i finally hit the room and i saw the pictures of her, happy with her family - oh yes i started to choke up - i remember her like that, always happy, loven' the sun like me, ect) - THEN i saw Mrs. V laying there - i LOST IT - i mean literally people must of been like 'who is this girl, she's crying like it's her own Mom' - but THERE ya go - that's exactly what i thought - HOLY sh*t that will be my Mom next - and then all the questions of - OMG HOW, WHAT, WHO, WHERE, WHAT come rushing in - how do you go on?! - i mean really???

and as i told you i battled the lakes and ponds on Sunday (major rain in NJ/NY) to rush home b/c i KNEW something was wrong with my Mom (over phone conversation) - and sure enough - YUP she's taking a turn for the worse - UNIVERSE COME ON ALREADY, I MEAN REALLY, FOR REAL?! - i swear i think i might need to give this Universe of ours a lil kick in the ass or I'm gonna tell Mother Nature to come after it - something gotta change!

so today is the last day of my cleanse - tomorrow i can not wait to eat something SO yummy, fresh, and organic - i was suppose to have my photo shoot with Zillenia Designs today - but we moved our lunch to tomorrow and we'll run ideas then and do the shoot! -- i also got in touch with a former friend who worked for Escada for years - so i'm thinking the 3 of us gals can work up a business plan up and do something wild! - we all have such great business backgrounds and artistic minds that i know we would make an amazing company together *fingers crossed*

Weekend Round-up & Cleanse Update

let's just say 1 of those in the calenders for WORST weekend - started off great - Friday got off work early - bubbly n beers by the pool then Joe's Chef friend came over and *YUM* of course, like impromptu party which u know i love! - then Saturday DAY 1 of cleanse - totally good - i have THE best nose, so "smells" REALLY get to me, so worst part was the "smell" of the drinks (not to mention they aren't so 'tasty') - THEN everyone left on Saturday's to go to Dao's (the chef) and i couldn't go *i mean WHO doesn't wanna go to a chef's house, HELLO* - then amongst ALL of this i hear a childhoods friend Mom (grew up with my Mom and her hubby did too) passed away in her sleep - PURE punch in the stomach - with everything i've been through, i thought it was like losing my own Mom - those feelings just rushed over my body, i didn't know what to do (and her and I aren't even close, just friend from 5 but never close at all) --- THEN Sunday i wake up in tears - you know when you WAKE up in tears NOT a good thing! - so i said SCREW U cleanse - i'm eating like an animals - 1 problem - Staten Island was ummm now a lake! - it rained so bad, cars stuck everywhere! -

so here at work today - off to funeral - doctors (like they ever stop) - and Universe knows - WHAT ELSE is next on the docket?! - NO CLUE!! - but BIG day tomorrow (hint, i'm setting the grounds for a photo shoot, for Zillenia - lunch, doctors of course, seeing a great friend n her new *boobies*, then some girl time more about Zillenia - i wanna do a piece on cancer and she has her own ideas she wants to enter into a contest - i'm of course MORE then happy to be her muse!)

ALSO as i show up for work today - i have a trail of "yellow stick notes" to the conference room - i follow them - THIS is what i find - from my Niece Caitlyn (the lil stick note says "elephant") - LOVE my LOVEBUG to death!!!! -- how can i ever have a bad day when i get to work with something like THAT - i mean really - i'm so blessed and happy right now!

so i've been wanting to do a cleanse/detox for some time now - and when i heard about Blue Print Cleanse from a friend (through facebook, she posted one of her bottles, thanks Leigh!) - anyway i look into it - i ask her about it - and from all i'm hearing it's THE best - pricey - but the best!

They have 3 different levels - i'm of course only level 1 and doing it for 3 days

The Renovation Cleanse
