after a gorgeous weekend down the shore - filled with bike riding through nature paths ( there is a nature path for bikes/runners/walkers that goes from my town to the next town over, it so pretty and peaceful, well except all the ugly new construction going on behind it ) and in and out of streets; filled with discovering "new" hidden treasures .. i decided to start the week with a quote ..
after my rejuvenating weekend - i thought this fit in so well!
HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND? - FEEL REJUVENATED?
Weekend Follow-Up:
so as stated Joe and I biked every day all through my town, towns over, and through paths - we got to head over to Mud City to eat and then headed to the island (LBI) for shopping - didn't find good sales, find better prices with the on-line and NYC sample sales - so we then ended up @ TJ Max/HomeGoods where i scored a bunch of James Perse, Mankinds, Joe's, and houseware items - we ended up skipping on the boat, b/c well i just didn't feel like going on, we got next weekend for that possibly - it was a short but sweet weekend - i am looking forward to the next as well as the San Generro feast this week! ..
Yes I had a wonderful and somewhat relaxing weekend. It was such a hectic week last week that I appreciated just doing the simple tasks and well doing nothing! And I love biking...sounds like you had a great time doing that AND getting some shopping in too.

What a fabulous quote! I'm doing a rejuvenating relaxing day today because my weekend was too busy. I would love to go biking around the town. Have fun at the San Generro festival!!

Love the quote!!! It's so true and just what I needed this Monday. I had a fabulous weekend. Felt very rejuvenated but then today started off on the wrong foot with the UN General Assembly paralyzing the city like it does every year from 2 weeks. I live and work on the east side and it's just a nightmare. This quote made my mood turn around :)
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds fabulous. Glad you had a wonderful time. Let me know how San Generro goes. Don't think I'll have time to brave it this year :) xoxo

Had a wonderful weekend but am completely exhausted. Having a puppy is the closest thing to having a baby I have had for 14 years. I forgot what it is like waking up every 3 hours to take her potty. Totally smitten tho'
