ever think and say "jeeze, what am i waiting for?" - well WHAT are you waiting for - do what you had your mind set to do months ago - forge ahead and go with it !
one of THE most life changing and fantastic books i ever read - and still open up for motivation and to retrack my thinking is "When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times" by Pema Chodron (ah-maze-ing) who is a teacher of meditation for everyday life!
this book was sent to me by one of my very dearest friends - just out of the blue - showed up in my mailbox at the exact time i needed it the most! - talk about karma?!
EVER GET THE PERFECT 'SOMETHING' AT THE EXACT TIME YOU NEEDED IT THE MOST?

Friends with amazing timing are the best. Everyone needs one. Or ten.
ReplyDeletei am totally looking up that book...
ReplyDeleteit sounds cheesy, but i think i found my current musical obsession (airborne toxic event) exactly when i really needed to.
i think sometimes you just need to know however nuts your life is, someone else has been there before, and often times, everything is going to be alright.
Checking out your guest post...love that blog too! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm SUCH a procrastinator!!! I have stacks of unread books and pristine sketchbooks waiting to be filled.
ReplyDeleteHowever this morning I did do something I've been telling myself to do for YEARS. I got up at 6AM (an unheard of time for me) and went on a two mile walk while hubby and babies slept. It felt great and I hope I can keep it up.
Thank you for the birthday wishes!
Cheers!
J.
