    I was kinda sketchy about ending up with a fake as well but did a little research on the internet and found out you just need to make sure it has the original "moschino-redwall" stamp on the inside leather and the serialnr. 401020 and the inside lining has to be light leather, its never black or a dark brown :) hope that helps. btw. i got super lucky on mine, it still had an original (vintage) pricetag on it.
