how fun are these steps?
i always love seeing what people do with an ordinary pair of stairs
reminds us how everything could use a lil flair to it!

{shabby chic-ish, no?}
{makes me think of lil kids feet running up in joy}
{people who live here HAVE to be fun!}
ever since i can remember - i count the stairs when i go up or down - not every time of course - but to this day i still catch myself counting as i climb ..
ANYONE ELSE COUNT THEIR STEPS?!?!
Ps - remember that faux fur vest i showed you i got? - i'm wearing it today - and *augh* driving me insane - it's sorta' itchy and well just annoying *blah* - i feel like i'll be eating faux fur with my breakfast and lunch :o(
Hahha I always do:)...I find it very fun. The yellow stairs are so sweet
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, my dear
Ha! I still catch myself counting stairs too! This is a great way to teach little ones how to count, wish I would have thought of it years ago!
ReplyDeleteHow fun...I like to see people enjoy their home and make it their own!
Cheers!
Just did a post with a little nod to my mathematician ways, yes, i count steps & LOVE this idea for a home, especially with my 4 children who are always counting things as well. The yellow stair case is amazing, love it all, love Posie
ReplyDeleteI agree that the people who live in those homes must have a great personality! And, yes count me in for counting steps...I even have my kids doing it now!
ReplyDeleteLove the second one - no doubt because I love everything shabby chic :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! and it is a good exercise tool to count the steps up and down a couple of times!!
ReplyDeleteGood to know about the vest! I might reconsider getting mine.
ReplyDeleteHow is your mom? All went well?

At our old house the basement was finished and a walk out which lead to the pool. I had stenciled the names of all our favorite beaches on them. It was so much fun! (Of course I am loving the yellow)! xo
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute idea. I can't wait to have a house!

Very cool, I really like that - maybe a message per step in different font would be cool too.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! I love #2 and #4. I always got bored counting... but I know someone who still counts ;)

So cute and yes I do count my steps whenever I'm in a long stairway...its like holding your breath when your in a tunnel...must be done.
ReplyDeletethese are super cute -- but probably not good for the lingering OCD in me. :P
ReplyDeleteThose steps are awesome! I definitely count steps...and I won't notice I'm doing it until I get to the top! Have you ever climbed the Eiffel Tower where thankfully they count the steps for you?!
ReplyDeleteLove the numbered steps!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the numbered steps! Although living in a two story house for most of my life, at some point I stopped counting. ;)

ReplyDeleteyay for number steps! i shall never lose track now ;)
ReplyDeletei totally counted my steps as a kid and into early adulthood b/c i was scared of having to go in the basement...and to the school bus. i knew the exact amount of steps to and fro for each.
ReplyDeletenot sure i should have admitted that...
and sucky about your vest. the last thing you need is the feeling of a mouth full of fur!!
xo,

I have to climb 116 stairs to my sixth-floor walk-up! I think that would be a little too scary to count each day...
