not sure how i feel about this - since i've been so disappointed in the past - but starting Dec 1, 2012 - Target and Neiman Marcus are collabing! - (about 2 dozen designers will be in on this 'new craze').
Each designer will have 1-3 items each priced between $7.99 - $499.99 at both chains with the average price around $59.99.

for me - i've been so disappointed in the quality of the products and the limited availability of what i wanted - all the items i've purchased in the past i've either never wore/used or was tired of seeing everyone and their mother wearing it down the street - and after pulling an all nighter for the Missoni for Target to only find their site crashing and other people getting dibs on my stuff i had in my cart - total turn off - i think i rather pay for the legit designer duds that will last me for years to come.
i'm pretty over this new 'craze' - plus it all ends up on eBay a few months later with people trying to just give the stuff away

ReplyDeleteHmm.. not sure about this. I think we basically get what we pay for. That said, I don't think that just because there is a designer label slapped on an item that it's superior. There are certain basics (like a pair of good black pumps or blazer) that I will pay more for. Other items that are less expensive are perfect for a trendy item.
