attic rooms can be a tricky design - with the eves of the house creating the rooms structure, there seems to be a limit of possibilities - but i think you will see below that the possibilities are actually endless with ideas for these rooms:
once you add exposed beams it adds instant richness and depth to the room
Moroccan to a whole new level
these windows make the room - note the built in bookshelves are a great space saving/utilization for the room - my childhood bedroom had them :o)
*dreamy* this is the perfect way to add a walk-in closet to an older home/cape cod house - turn the upstairs attic into your walk-in closet
lets not forget this space is great for a child's room - with height most of the time being an issue - this space makes for a great child's room
also a great spot to make your 'woman cave' or 'man cave'
HAVE YOU UTILIZED YOUR ATTIC SPACE?
Gorgeous spaces. Love this style ceiling.

When we were house shopping, my husband would not let me even think about any house with attic rooms like this. I don't mind it though and that Moroccan room?!!?! OMG! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI could live life in any of those rooms but the first and second are definitely favorites. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSigh, there aren't really attics in SE Asia but my parents have a nice attic in NYC. I love the version with windows or with the all white feel!

I love all these attic rooms and how cute they look. My husband used to live in an attic room and while it was cute, it´s too hot in the summer and too cold in winter.
ReplyDeleteThat first room is just gorgeous! Such a beautiful little space if you decorate it up right! :)
