Memorial Birthday

guess what today is?!?! - give up?!?!
MY BIRTHDAY!

lucky for me it always falls on Memorial Day Weekend - so i always have offically 3 days off - pretty much for the last 20+ years i've always went down the shore and kicked off summer ...

this year tho is a bit different - with my leaving June 1 for Vermont (trust me hardest decision to actually still go, but no one is letting me stay home), the same day my Mom goes in for her 2 major surgeries (ovaries and hernia - she'll be in hosptial for atleast 5 days - and my Dad still can't walk) i am staying up north and doing traditional BBQ's, going wine tasting, planting my Dad's garden, unearthing my summer clothes packed away in bins, and just good ole fashion fun in the sun (i will get beach time in) ! -- sure i'm bummed a lil not to be down the shore, riding my beach cruiser around LBI - but i got all summer to do that, right?! - change is good!

oh PS - Joe already got me my Alexander Wang bag i wanted - i've hinted around for some 'red bottom shoes' so i guess we'll see soon enough! - oh and Momma still needs her Barcelona chair!

thought this was funny - so i'm sharing - everyone knows me all too well - all my birthday wishes so far on facebook are like this "happy birthday, enjoy ur day shopping" - haha - then i got the best one saying "May all your Home Goods be filled with magical Tiptoe Butterfly worthy items!" - oh i'm feeling the love alright! - best people in my life!!!!
