Tiki Time

FIRST -- HOW was everyone weekend?!!?! - i think i still may be drunk *eeeek* - it was serious party-hardy all weekend long - and i got nice golden sun kissed skin now! - the shore was great! (except i had to wake up at 6am to make it to work *boo* this morning)


SOOOOOO - i love nothing more then throwing an off the hook party! (aka i love throwing all my girls nights) - i'm the kinda' girl that goes all out and leaves nothing to chance (all or nothing = that's me) - i make sure everything is covered and all my guests feel stress-free and can just live it up - so you ask why i am telling you this? - well because this weekend i'm throwing THE best tiki party in town! (ok, i'm being a lil prejudice and early forecasting here - but i'm going with it!)

yes my Butterflies - it's gonna be a tiki party to remember! - i threw out a survey to some of my closest friends and they all voted for me to have the party down the shore (lil tougher since all my party supplies are up north) - so their wish is granted - location will be at my shore house - extra bonus: a pool, private beach, kayaks, boating, ect.!


so i'm here in work today (July 5th) - then i'll be leaving for the shore tomorrow morning - i left my Mom down there for 1 day alone to see how she 'survives' (i have to cancel her radiation, she wants 1 more week to get stronger) - lots to do - lots to do - still gotta create my menu for the party - hang all the decorations - make some snazzy cocktail shooters - ect!

i'll be MIA till July 11 - then my Butterflies i'll fill you all in on my Mom, the party, 4th of July weekend - ect.!

i'm gonna try and remember to bring my laptop (i NEVER use a computer at home since i'm on one all day at work - especially NEVER EVER down the shore) - so if i remember then i will post and be blogging away ...

    Ah, 4th at the shore! I definitely will be celebrating there next year. DC was just a wee bit too muggy! I need my ocean breeze.

    It sounds like it was probably one heck of an awesome party! I totally wish I was one of those party throwing planners but I can never seem to get my ducks in a row. They have such awesome tiki gear out there, I only can imagine how great of a themed party you had. :)
