Hair

i may have complained on here from time to time on how i have such fine/thin hair and i lust after those thick locks some women are blessed with! - at the moment i haven't got my hair "done" for months, i'm sporting  the poor girls ombre/beach effect right now and personally i think i'm rockin' it - i've always wanted to try extenstions (www.americandreamextensions.com) - and this site American Dream might just be able to give me those thick luscious locks i've been craving!

*this is my dream hair - i'm currently sorta' at the color she has - wouldn't mind her body either*

at the same time i'm terrified of losing my hair due to extensions - we've seen celebrities like Nicole Richie to the Kardashin sisters to Naomi Campbell to Beyonce - lose their own hair due to the effects of hair weaves/extensions

so the next best thing - clip-ins! - i'm going to try them - and i'll keep you posted! - i'd love to take the dive in for semi-permanent extensions but i just don't think my natural hair would be able to withstand it

DO YOU HAVE EXTENSIONS?

  1. Honestly I'm scared of the real hair extensions, but you know what? Those celebrities already have such stressed out hair I wonder if it was really the extensions that did them in. It could have been just a combo of it all. It wouldn't hurt to try it once! =)

  6. I've never used extensions but I've thought about it. I'm scared of the damage they'll do though.

  8. I want hair like that photo sooo bad! Can I just get a perm? I have the thickness, just not the wave. Would you still be my friend if I got a perm?

  9. I've never had extensions .. but I have heard they are not good for your natural hair (as you stated above:) I have seen some women wear the clip on variety with great success! I would definitely try that before you go the other route.. given you have delicate hair :)

    {I am glad to be back and will look forward to posting in a day or two!}

  11. I am an extension queen! I do what they call "Sew in", similar to Kourtney's hair in the picture. That is the best route to go. Those small metal clip things can damage your hair is not removed correctly. Nicole Richie dyes and relaxes her hair so that is why her hair is so thin. I also have full clip in pieces. You should try those. You can take them out when you get home.
