It's Routine

So i thought i'd take you inside my world of how i take care of my hair .. warning: i have fine, thin hair - so what works for me, might not work for u .. but these products are beyond fabulous!!!

Rusk has an organic like called "Sensories" which i use the "Bedew" products - i love em'! and all sulfate free, which is mucho-gusto great for your hair! - and the smell, citrusy fresh! ~ the shampoo, conditioner, mask, and oil are really great products - i use em all!!!

This intense hydrating mask is by Moroccan Oil - i use this every 1 to 2 weeks .. i take a shower at night - put it in at the end - and then let my hair dry naturally - sleep - then quickly wash it out with just water in the morning - it's GREAT!

i always switch between shampoos and conditioner - b/c they say it's not good for u to always u the same one - so every few day's i switch .. here's Kerasik by Goldwell - i swear by this stuff - it's filled with protein and makes my hair sooooo silky! - i use this as my "other" conditioner to Rusk

Here's another product by Goldwell of their Kerasilk line - it's a leave-in intense moisture treatment - i use this every single day once i get out of the shower - whether i blow-dry my hair or let it air-dry (mostly air-dry these days) .. it's has no weight to it and give your hair that extra health and moisture it yearns for

This shampoo by ABBA, the Creme Moist, is amazing!!! - i've loved Abba for years! - but this one, the Creme Moist (for color treated hair) has a smell to die for and it does wonders with cleansing - they have new packaging now .. so the one on the right is what you would find in the salon's and stores now ..
Finally a thick comb! - i use this in the shower after i condition my hair - to make sure my hair is properly conditioned! - it should be in every girls shower!

So that's my VERY basic routine

WHAT'S YOURS?!
any product you swear by?!

  4. Monica ... i've used the moroccan oil for some time - but my styalist advised me agains the other products b/c it's "heavy" - so if u have fine hair, i'd stay away from the other stuff ..

  10. EEEEK, your basic routine is WAY beyond mine. HA! A Tasmanian devil toddler running around means I have to get in and get out FAST. Soooo, in the summer I usually just wash and condition with Garnier Fructis and scrunch with surf spry. : )

  11. Thanks for sharing this! I have pretty thin hair too. I need all the help I can get. I am terrible when it comes to hair products. I never know what to get! Currently I am using Assuie. It's supposed to help with volume, but I can't really tell a difference.

  16. oooh! i also have very very fine, thin hair (i swear i'm going bald...). i'll have to look into these. i just adore kerasilk products, and my mom just sent me that morrocan oil, which i'm hearing tons about lately. thanks for the tips!
did you know your hair grows fastest in the summer (according to a random fact i heard somewhere)? time to take care of it! :)

  17. Jammer ... the other products prob wouldn't be good for u, like they aren't for me - i'd stick with the mask and that's it with the morrocan products

Kristin .. i've been dying to try and Bumble and Bumble surf spray! - ever try?

Diane ... i LOVE natural products, just most don't like me :o( (when comes to my hair)

C'est ... try the Kerasilk products, it's full of protein and will be stregnth, moisture, and shine to ur hair

Kelli ... in the summer i put a mask on my hair and then go out on the boat all day, it helps so much when i do that! - ive been trying to "grow" my hair for awhile now, but i get the 'itch' and chop it .. been good now .. and i too feel bald at time, *sigh* to have thick hair!

  25. I love new ideas to try for hair products. I use the Rusk shining spray for my hair. Just a little puts on a nice shine and smell Delicious!! I also do a deep conditioning with Elemis Exotic Frangipani monoi moisture melt. If you are in to soft shiney and a fragrance that is unbelieveable you must try this stuff. I have a post on some of my fav. products here if you like to try some new stuff. I have fine hair also.
