Check out this GIVE-AWAY by my girl Amy!
So the upstairs of my house is like an "attic" i guess - it has the slanted walls on both sides - so here's what i found for some inspiration for up there ..
i love the fixed beam in the middle with the lights hanging - then with the lil house up there for kids to play?! - too cute! *check out the tree painting next to the play house*
exposed beams, bamboo, bricks - what's NOT to love here?! - they even have the lil hearts to SHOW how much love is going on!
i'm all over this one - especially the fabric from ceiling to floor just draping beautifully - then the lil balcony outside - *sigh*
SOLD! - i don't think there's ANYTHING about this space i don't love! - the poufs, paints boards, windows, floor 'couch' - this would be my 'zen' spot - i would come here to retreat from the world, relax, and indulge in serenity!
check out what they did here to their attic, made it into a lil apartment - how CUTE is this?! - totalllly inspired by this effect
i can't even imagine a bathroom like THIS upstairs in my house - i'd DIE - i actually seen them do this on HDTV - every material they used i knew all about and kept saying to myself much $$$ - but hello gorgeous!
do you notice the REAL tree beams here? - my bedroom has the 'real tree' thing going on with lamps and stuff - i would KILL for actual beam like that!!!
i'm saving my pennies to eventually have this - have the 2 side of my house, upstairs, to be all glass - talk about statement pieces, right?!
i don't think any kid would mind this being their room! - what a genus use of space with putting that ladder up to another play area!
Lastly - how about this built-in?! - i LOVE it - and look, it has an exposed beam above! - i would love this nook for myself!
Do you have an attic you'd love to convert?
Anything stike you?

ReplyDeleteAbout the Maltese and bile acid level, I found some really interesting studies that found that Maltese are not like other dogs, if you give me your email I'll send them to you. My vet has no idea and my dog hasn't had any issues. I hope the sonogram goes well, how old is your Maltese? I try to feed mine less protein than in dog food.. that's supposed to help too, oh and milk thistle supplements help livers too!
Loving the 3rd and the 4th pictures... you can just feel the wonderful breeze.
