Check out Brooke Girty Designs at a Beach Cottage:
here is a view of the cottage from the water - i'm dying over it! -i'm usually ALL about "modern" - but there's something about this number that just has me!
speechless! - that island is UNbelievable! - the cararra marble for the back splash, divine! - i still can't get over the island!
the floors in this foyer are just PERFECT! - and spiral staircase, heavenly!
once again - the floors! - they look like OLD boards, i'm just goo-goo for them! - and i LOVE the ceiling - so unexpected - with the "old" touches and the 'modern' ceiling .. NEVER would of thought that!
what a cute couch for the third floor, no? - LOVEN' the HUGE sky-light! .. and look at the art on the wall, it reads "i own this" - i LOVE THAT!!!
look at the kids room - that shag pouf is awesome! - and look even an elephant in the room (my fave!) .. and the lil ladder, r u kidding me, stole my heart!
WHADDYA THINK OF BROOKE?!
This would be a perfect place to relax and enjoy the coast. Calming and spacious.

What a wonderful blog! I really enjoyed the pictures of this gorgeous beach house. The neutral palate is calming, and all the nice natural looking materials. Nothing is forced or contrived. Its like the house just materialized because it was meant to be!
ReplyDeletewow! just a perfect way to spend summer! thanks! ~M
ReplyDeleteGreat House! I love all the use of worn wood on both the inside and outside.
ReplyDeleteThe interiors are very interesting...the shag carpet actually works...I love those old wood floors (like the interior of most Anthropologie stores I've been inside).
ReplyDeleteBUT your friend's wedding dress, it is just the cutest thing ever.
