It's Bananas!

this weekend i spent some time thinking where i would like to jetset off too - and while i was googling around - i came across this eco-friendly home in Brazil .. (( designed by Mareines + Patalano Architects ))



This "leaf" home was inspired by banana leaves and the roof is designed to capture rainwater for house use
amazing sprawling private beach and dock *sigh* - i wonder if they rent it out?! hummm

this is the front entrance - breathe taking no?!

here is one of the bedrooms and bath - i adore all the natural factors of this space!

here's 1 leaf (wing) - i'd never leave!

Are you dreaming of Brazil like I am right now?!

    This is amazing! I'd definitely go there and I wouldn't leave the house, there would be no need to! I like that it's eco-friendly and collects rainwater...

    That looks so crazy from the top, but how absolutely gorgeous! its so well designed to be remnant of the area, yet its not overdone and too kitschy. Love it!
