Africa

with my life being so out of control lately all i've been thinking about are ways to escape - and the foremost thought is AFRICA! - yes Africa my friends - i have ALWAYS wanted to visit and move there - have a totally different change of life - uproot everything and just move and find a tribe to welcome me for my stay! - this has literally been a dream of mine since i was a little girl - living in Africa, seeing the wildlife, scorching hot days, bugs flying all around me, living in the same clothes for days at a time, being barefoot and eating only what the tribe eats, ect.

i dream of this day one day coming true - for this "tribe" to teach me more about myself and for me to help them as well - a total barter system - as well as a spiritual awakening - i hope one day, everyone will be well enough in my family, that i can just uproot myself and plant my feet in Africa for some time - this day can not come soon enough!

DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE A CALLING IN LIFE TO BE SOMEWHERE ELSE MAKING A DIFFERENCE?!
my perfect life = to have just enough money to not have to work and volunteer full time :o)

forget about shopping, clothing, new bags, home decor, designers - but instead grow as a human, become more spiritual within myself, and to go find my calling grounds and make a difference - i now know i identify as a "helper/fixer" - which i've come to find there isn't many people who are in the same boat as i - but the one's who are - LOVE! - that's who i want to spend the rest of my days with!

Africa please welcome me one day to your glorious land and spirit!

(Spirit Junie by Gabby Bernstein should be showing up today - JUST in time for some spiritual awakening and motivation!)

*i most likely will be disconnected for a bit - with my Mom's surgery tomorrow (double mastectomy with reconstruction) i will be called to duty making sure all her needs are met - the first 2 weeks are gonna be the worst/toughest - long road ahead of us - but we're off to the right direction - Thank You Butterflies for all your continued support and well wishes!*

  6. I should add that while I was in Swaziland I volunteered in a community where we built a fence around a school, painted classrooms, tended to a community garden and taught english.

  7. I can totally understand your feeling. When things are so out of control daydreaming about going somewhere is one of the only things that gets me through. And Africa has been on my list forever. It would be such a life enriching experience.

Good luck to you all tomorrow! xoxo

Her blog is Tres bird. You should check her out from my don't miss list and read her post about her experience there. She is a fantastic writer and photographer.
