it's all adding up to - too much

*deep breathes*

when i thought it couldn't get ANY worse - it DOES! - i spent 10 hours in the emergency room for my Mom - Doctors thinking 1st a heart attack, then she had a stone in her gallbladder (which means surgery to take gallbladder out), then to her insane huge hiatal hernia, (which makes her stomach all the way into her chest) ...

we leave the ER after 10 hours, NO answers! - which mean my Mom will be on the floor crying in pain in no time - they had to give her morphine in the hospital to just help alleviate the pain ..

oh you think i'm done, that's all that could of gone wrong, right? - OH NO!!

i come home to Kayleigh (my pup) having all the signs of having or going into a seizure! - yup, so now i'm frantic thinking i need to rush her to the ER (which closest ER to me for her is a min 45 min trip) - i immediately give her the meds she was on the last time she was hospitalized (figured it would help her heart) - called my boyfriend, which his sister is a Vet tech - she said it could possibly be low blood sugar (prob didn't eat all day b/c we all were gone) to give her pancake syrup - so i squirt it down her throat! - made her all kinds of food and she's eating it like a starved child! - her shaking and stiffness (yes, her lil body was tensing up, like people do when they seize) starts to go away - Joe comes over to pick up Rusty (Rusty, his dog, stayed over for the weekend) and Kayleigh is back to normal - playing, tail up, trying to beat up Rusty, having treats, drinking water, and STILL eating (she's 4lbs, she doesn't eat that much normally) ..

and to think my friends - Saturday i was decorating my house for Christmas - was all about 'holiday cheer' - i stayed in my 'positive mind' - was practicing my zen and channeling all good energies - i was so proud of myself to get back to my healthy state of being - and BAM Sunday am come - and rushing to the ER just like a few days prior!

Here's to a week filled with NOTHING!
i want NOTHING
i wanna be bored out of my mind!
i wanna do mindless acts of nothingness!

THANK YOU to all my friends and family who extended their love, support, and help throughout this week - all your generous offers of assistance, support, and love have all been accounted for and i will be forever grateful ! - this week has finalized my friends and family list! - love and thank you's to all of you!!!!

Hopefully back to FUN, DECOR, GIFTS, GIVE-AWAY'S, FASHION, ECT. tomorrow!

  26. ugghh, I feel for you Erika! My mom had the EXACT same thing happen one day when I had a migraine (of all days!) She called me looking for a ride to the ER b/c she thought she was having a heart attack and I couldn't even function because I was that deep into the migraine. Thankfully, my brother drove her!(Before that I would have imagined that I could have done anything to get my mom to the ER in an emergency but I was totally disappointed by my inability to help her.) Thankfully, it was a galbladder attack although she also suffers from the hernia thing you mentioned... In the end, she had the surgery to remove her galbladder and everything was better. She has also had some problems with her blood counts and she is anemic but the counts had been measured incorrectly due to water in the tube or something. Either way, she was alright and I am so thankful for that! I hope your mom's tests go well and that she is happy and healthy so you can relax and not worry about everyone for a little while!!!

  27. I have learned to meditate and do yoga - never thought I could relax enough to let go but I attend a Healing Circle once a month and learned how to relax enough to put my mind and body at rest and simply be. I work in a busy high school health room of 2000 kids - crazy days, just moved out of my home with 3 days of clothes (in Sept. = abusive husband)and I have never felt more at peace - try to take things in moments...the breeze on your cheek, pink and blue skies, a laugh from someone you love, buy a childrens book...sending you a hug, Jennifer oh, and if it gives you peace - ignore my post lol!
