Herringbone Floors

who doesn't love to walk into a space and your first reaction is to look down to a jaw dropping floor? - well this girl thinks nothing beats that feeling - it's unexpected and ubber creative if you ask me - my house has the original 1950's hardwood floors that i restored - the only place i get to "play" with flooring will be my basement - which is just a hollow shell right now of nothingness (or aka my gym/laundry room/dungeon) - but my next house this girl will have her 'got your attention herringbone floors'!!

Do you share in my 'awe' in herringbone floors?

  3. I've always loved the herringbone design, probably because of its elegant aesthetic. It can make any room classy, yet its design can be updated to incorporate modern trends, just like the one shown in those pictures. My favorite among the bunch would have to be the last one, which looks like the herringbone tiles were made from marble. Thank you so much for sharing! Cheers!
